Senior Analyst Tax Provision

DescriptionOur Kforce client. located in Richmond, VA is seeking an experienced Senior Analyst Tax Provision to support income tax accounting, provision reporting, and tax compliance activities for a growing organization. This role will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate tax reporting, process improvements, and compliance with applicable accounting standards. Our client offers salary and comprehensive benefits, wellness plan 4 days on-site position and 401(k).Key Responsibilities:* Prepare and review quarterly and annual income tax provisions and related tax disclosures under ASC 740* Support effective tax rate calculations, tax account reconciliations, and uncertainty in income tax documentation* Perform tax calculations related to areas such as R&D credits, inventory, stock compensation, and intercompany transactions* Research tax legislation and provide guidance on new business initiatives* Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, automation, and reporting efficiency* Assist with mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team membersRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's degree preferred* CPA preferred* 4+ years of corporate tax or public accounting experience* Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and income tax accounting* Experience with tax technology and reporting tools is a plus* Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsJob TypeDirect HireCompensation130000 - $130000
