Farmington Hills - Part time, 20 hours per week, rotating shift. About the Unit Our team is comprised of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Our inpatient pharmacy team collaborates closely with healthcare providers to ensure optimal medication management for hospitalized patients. We oversee the medication storage, distribution, and management in a variety of settings. We review medication orders for accuracy and potential interactions, accurately prepare and dispense medications, provide evidence-based drug information, monitor drug levels to optimize therapy, and educate patients and families about their medications. By prioritizing medication safety and minimizing adverse events, we strive to improve patient outcomes and contribute to their overall well-being. About Corewell Health Farmington Hills Hospital Corewell Health Farmington Hills opened on Jan. 19, 1965 as a 200‑bed facility known then as Botsford General Hospital. Today, Corewell Health Farmington Hills Hospital is a 305‑bed teaching facility with Level II trauma status. Scope of Work Provides Pharmaceutical Care according to professional and departmental standards and statutory requirements. Provides safe, effective, rational, and cost‑conscious pharmacotherapeutic recommendations through the department's medication management programs. The Clinical Pharmacist assists in supervising the functional activities of Pharmacy Technicians and Interns, participates in department‑directed medication management activities consistent with Beaumont Health goals and objectives, and demonstrates good judgment and decisiveness during daily activities. The Clinical Pharmacist supports management by providing oversight, guidance, and support for all assigned areas and participates in the planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of new programs and activities.
