Job Description

• Craft Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create customized therapy strategies aimed at achieving their functional objectives.
• Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply research-backed techniques to enhance patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and essential daily activities.
• Engage with Interdisciplinary Teams: Collaborate closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
• Instruct Patients and Caregivers: Empower patients and their families with knowledge on therapy methods to facilitate continued progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Monitor and Record Progress: Keep detailed accounts of clinical progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Education

• A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college
• Encouragement for continuing education and advanced certifications

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
