Pay Rate $14.00/hr Weekly Hours 16 hours, part-time Schedule Monday to Thursday, 7:30 PM – 11:30 PM Summary This position will perform custodial work in a 4,500–5,000 sq. ft. facility, requiring approximately one hour per shift to complete all cleaning tasks according to industry standards. Duties and Responsibilities Perform all assigned tasks in a professional manner to reflect company integrity. Clean administrative offices, lobbies, break rooms, lounges, corridors, bathrooms, elevators, and stairways in a neat, sanitary manner. Sanitize restrooms, sweep, mop, dust surfaces, and restock supplies. Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, windows, doors, trim, and related furnishings; move furniture only when directed by a supervisor; use safety poles for high dusting. Collect recyclable and non‑recyclable waste and replace trash‑can liners. Clean telephones periodically using disinfectants where applicable. Vacuum traffic areas and remove visible debris from carpets. Clean light switches, doors, walls, and tops of modular furniture and blinds. Polish tables, benches, chairs, stainless‑steel elevators, escalators, water fountains, and sinks. Remove cobwebs and safely empty trash to the proper dumping area; break down heavy trash into manageable weights before lifting. Secure the job area with safety signs when mopping or performing other hazardous duties. Lock/unlock doors and windows as necessary and turn off lights when rooms are unoccupied. Report to work on time, dressed in company uniform with badge and rubber‑soled safety shoes. Identify and report safety hazards to a supervisor or manager. Follow safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and bloodborne pathogen protocols when cleaning bio‑waste. Follow all infection control practices, including hand washing techniques. Work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays. Ensure cleaning carts remain unattended, properly replenished, and safe after each shift. Keep custodial closets locked at all times and properly sign out keys; leave them at the job site. Keep hallways and pathways clear of hazardous items to prevent trips and falls. Leave equipment and cleaning materials clean and ready for use at shift end. Complete additional duties as assigned. Education / Experience High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma preferred. Six months of related experience preferred. Qualifications / Knowledge Understand written and verbal instructions in English. Apply common sense to follow provided instructions.
