MINIMUM SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a love for children.
• Possess a knowledge or willingness to learn about the physical, social, mental, and spiritual development of children.
• Must be dependable.
• Must be able to get along with others.
• Must be friendly and cheerful.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Arrive and prepare assigned room 15 minutes prior to the scheduled Worship service or event.
• Welcome parents and children at the nursery door in a friendly manner.
• Check diaper bags and other belongings for proper name identification. Label items with childs name if needed.
• Provide for the safety and well-being of children during the child care session.
• Check children regularly for diaper changing or toileting needs. Adhere to the approved child care policies and procedures when changing diapers and washing hands.
• Provide scheduled feeding or snack for infants and children.
• Communicate childs activities to the parents at the time of pick-up.
• Clean room thoroughly and disinfect toys and surfaces in accordance to the Nurserys Policies and Procedures.
• Regularly review and be familiar with FPCs Nursery Policies and Procedures.
• Attend caregiver staff meetings.
• Attend annual CPR/First Aid training sessions.
