Surgical Technologist Certified

Position Description: Certified Surgical Technologist Responsibilities The Surgical Technologist is a member of the health care team who performs technical support in the perioperative period under the direction and supervision of a RN according to accepted clinical standards of care. Prepares equipment, instruments, supplies, operating room, and patients to ensure sterile field. Coordinates preparation or disposal of specimens, etc. Assists with inventory of sterile supplies. May assist in patient transport. Position Details Location: Bartow Med Ctr Status: Full Time, Exempt: No Shift Hours: Days Weekend Work: Occasional On Call: Yes Requirements Completion of an Accredited Surgical Technology Program OR completion of a military or hospital-based training program with 5 years acute care Surgical Tech experience.
