Hours & Schedule This role follows a structured 5-week rotating schedule that includes days, evenings, nights, and weekends Over the 5-week rotation, employees work 14 days and are off 21 days A sample schedule is outlined below to illustrate typical hours and days worked Sample 5-Week Rotation: Week 1: Off Sunday – Wednesday; Work Thursday - Saturday, 7am – 7pm (36 hours) Week 2: Work Sunday – Tuesday, 7am – 7pm; Off Wednesday – Saturday (36 hours) Week 3: Off Sunday – Wednesday; Work Thursday, 7am – 7pm, work Friday – Saturday, 7pm – 7am (36 hours) Week 4: Work Sunday, 7pm – 7am; off Monday - Saturday (12 hours) Week 5: Off Sunday; Work Monday – Thursday, 10:30am – 9pm; Off Friday – Saturday (40 hours) Overview Performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures in ambulatory setting requiring independent judgment, under the direction of a qualified physician. Proficient in preliminary structural reporting. Performs Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Tech I responsibilities in addition to one of the following: Interventional, DVT, or Hospital Based/Standing ED. Conducts general diagnostic ultrasound imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, to include: scanning of patient for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology, operation of sonography equipment, operation of the electronic radiology systems, preparation of patient room/equipment/medications, and maintains adequate supply inventory. Explains examination and procedure to patient and completes departmental documentation. Competent in use and logging of infection control equipment. Education Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, related field, or completion of a training program acceptable to the ARRT or ARDMS registry boards (Required) Certification/Licensure ARRT or ARDMS (Required) BLS Experience 2 years of related sonography experience (Strongly Preferred) Keyword: Sonographer, Ultrasound, Imaging, Radiology, Talroo - Allied Health, Monster #J-18808-Ljbffr
