Travel Nurse RN - Neuro - $2,105 per week in Dayton, OH

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified Neuro RN in Dayton, Ohio, 45401!

Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients with neurological diseases and disorders, including seizures and strokes, within a fast-paced Neuro ICU at a comprehensive stroke center
Manage overflow ICU patients from Medical Surgical ICU and Heart and Vascular ICU as needed
Read and interpret cardiac strips

as part of ongoing patient monitoring and assessment
Float within specialty cluster or to other units within the hospital system, including campuses within approximately 15 miles of the main campus, based on census and skill set - no float restrictions or special requests will be accommodated
Complete required orientation modules (up to 24 hours) and comply with all onboarding requirements, including lab work and EKG/Dysrhythmia exam within 72 hours of contract signing
Maintain availability to work every other weekend and holiday throughout the contract period
Required Qualifications
Active RN license (any active state license or compact license accepted); candidates with any past license disciplinary action will not be considered
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
Minimum of 2 years of Neuro ICU experience and/or 2 years of comprehensive stroke center experience in a large hospital setting with some neurological experience
ACLS certification required
BLS certification required
NIHSS certification required
Proficiency in

Epic EMR

is required
Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in a high-acuity, fast-paced ICU environment managing complex neurological patient populations
Comfort and flexibility with floating to multiple units or campuses based on patient census and clinical need
Prior travel nursing experience with demonstrated adaptability to new environments and teams
