Bus Driver ~ PM Route

Job Title

Initial Assignment: Transportation Anticipated Hours: 2 hours per day (approximately 2:00PM-4:00 PM) Shift: Afternoons Monday thru Friday Hourly Rate: $20.16hr - $27.47/hr depending on experience CDL Certified Preferred but we are also willing to train candidates. Qualifications: High School diploma or general education degree(GED) Must be Insurable State of Ohio Commercial Drivers License with School Bus Endorsement Such alternatives to the above qualifications as Superintendent and/or Board may find appropriate Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to work effectively with others Ability to communicate ideas and directives clearly and effectively both orally and in writing Effective, active listening skills Organizational and problem solving skills State Department of Education Basic School Bus Driver Education Program Basic first-aid procedures Knowledge of relevant Ohio laws and regulations Knowledge of traffic laws Ability to read and understand verbal and written instructions, written warnings and labels Ability to handle emergency situations Ability to interpret gauges, dipsticks for oil and transmission
