Job Details Position: Travel Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Tele Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Location: Elmira, New York Setting: 34-bed Med/Surg Tele unit with a primary stroke and telemetry focus Start Date: 9/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour day shifts Hours: 36 hours per week Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250 Job Requirements Active RN license in good standing At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg Tele, telemetry nursing, or similar acute care experience Current BLS certification Current ACLS certification NIH Stroke Scale certification or relevant stroke care experience Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and excellent communication skills Ability to provide safe, compassionate patient care in a team-oriented healthcare setting Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition Support patients with stroke-related and other complex medical needs Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive patient outcomes Float to other units as needed based on facility needs Assist with occasional charge nurse responsibilities when assigned Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and promptly Why This Travel Nursing Job?
