FIT Clinician

Description This position is responsible for providing assessments and counseling services in the FIT Program. The individual must have the competence to provide clinical assessments, individual, group, and family therapy. Position requires the therapist have knowledge of mental health and substance abuse diagnoses and treatment per the DSM-5. Qualifications Requires a Master's degree in the human services field (psychology, sociology, social work, counselor education, etc.), abide by a code of ethical and practice standards, and be committed to a process of lifetime knowledge and skills development. Have a minimum of two years of direct experience working with individuals with a substance use diagnosis. Experience working in an agency providing substance use services, preferred. CAP (Certified Addictions Professional) preferred. Must have reliable transportation. Must meet Peace River Center's driving requirements with a minimum age of 25 to drive a PRC vehicle. Must carry and maintain $25,000/$50,000 bodily injury coverage on personal vehicle and provide proof of coverage. Must have a current FL driver’s license and clean driving record.
