Registered Nurse (RN) - Obstetrics and Gynecology

We are seeking a motivated and team-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology for a night shift position. The role is ideal for those who are dedicated to providing high-quality care and enhancing the patient experience.

Position Overview

• Shift: Nights, 18:30 - 07:00
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Weekend Hours: As required by facility (Every third weekend)

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain professional accountability for the effectiveness of care provided by the healthcare team.
• Coordinate patient care in collaboration with various departments.
• Uphold patient rights and ensure confidentiality of all patient information.
• Perform duties in alignment with organizational mission and values.

Qualifications

• Required Licensure: Current RN License eligible for licensure in the state.
• Required Certifications: BLS from AHA only.
• Preferred Certifications: NRP and STABLE.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Med-Surg or Mother/Baby care.
• Float Requirements: Ability to float to other units as needed, based on skill level.

Unit Information

• Patient Ratios: 6:1 (estimates)
• Type of Patients: Mother/Baby, Med/Surg, GYN surgical, bariatric procedures, and colorectal surgeries.

Dress Code

Scrub Color: Black. Only black scrubs and organizational branded tops are acceptable attire.

Additional Information

Night shift staff orientation occurs during daytime hours and staff must be available for training throughout the entire week.
