Neurohospitalist Position
Our organization is on the lookout for neurologists who are passionate about the comprehensive aspects of inpatient neurology to become part of our growing neurohospitalist program, which currently serves ten hospitals across Atlanta. We offer both academic and community-focused roles within our team.
Applicants should be board certified or eligible in neurology. The academic rank will be determined based on the candidate's experience and training. Our hospitals serve as the primary academic teaching facilities in the greater Atlanta region and are recognized as a significant referral center in the southeastern United States, while also delivering essential neurologic care throughout the Atlanta area.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a diverse range of challenging inpatient cases.
- Handle a high volume of stroke patients.
- Collaborate with a supportive and dedicated team.
- Engage in teaching opportunities for residents and medical students.
- Participate in clinical effectiveness research initiatives.
- Board certification or eligibility in neurology.
- Relevant experience and training for academic rank consideration.
- Reasonable work hours.
