Maintenance TechnicianFull Time | Year-Round PositionPay: $18-$20/hour based on experienceAt Genacross Lutheran Services, we have been serving individuals, families, and communities with compassion for more than 160 years. As a faith-based nonprofit organization, we are committed to serving the needs of our community with exceptional care, innovation, and support.What will I do as a Maintenance Technician with Genacross?Perform general maintenance and repairs across housing sites, including plumbing, painting, basic electrical work, drywall, minor construction, landscaping, trash removal, and groundskeeping Complete maintenance work orders promptly, with a goal of completion within 72 hours Prepare and turn over apartments within established timelines to support occupancy and move-in readiness Maintain building, grounds, equipment, and required maintenance logs in accordance with applicable safety, regulatory, and funding requirements Coordinate with site leadership, vendors, and contractors to support repairs, maintenance projects, purchasing, and property needs Provide responsive, resident-focused service while partnering with Site Managers and Service Coordinators to address and appropriately refer resident concernsMaintenance Technician Requirements:Minimum of 2 years of maintenance, facilities, groundskeeping, or related experience Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to travel regionally between Genacross sites Availability to participate in weekday and occasional weekend on-call coverageWhy Join Genacross?At Genacross, you'll be part of a mission-driven organization where your work directly supports the independence and well-being of the people we serve.Benefits Include: (Benefits vary based on position, schedule, and eligibility.
