Seeking two experienced pharmacists for a 13-week contract opportunity starting November 2nd in Meriden, CT. This dynamic role offers a mix of clinical and operational responsibilities with a schedule that includes days, evenings, and rotating weekends (five 8-hour shifts per week).

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of three years of pharmacy experience. Those who have completed PGY1 residency training are preferred, but candidates with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in lieu of residency will be considered. The position welcomes pharmacists with inpatient pharmacy backgrounds and some exposure to pediatric and women’s health services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmaceutical care in inpatient settings and specialized clinical areas, particularly within children's and women’s health
• Manage operational tasks such as dispensing pharmacy oversight, sterile processing, and serving as Pharmacist in Charge where appropriate
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize medication therapy management based on patient needs and institutional protocols
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Adapt to various shift schedules, contributing to a flexible and efficient pharmacy workflow

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum three years of relevant pharmacy experience
• PGY1 residency training or equivalent practice experience (2-3 years)
• Experience in inpatient pharmacy with exposure to pediatrics and women’s health preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and operational competency
• Ability to take on leadership roles such as Pharmacist in Charge is a plus
