Registered Nurse Emergency Room

$2403.20/week -

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy ED setting, managing a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric cases. Deliver efficient, compassionate care while adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patients upon arrival to determine priority of care based on acuity levels.
  
  
• 
  Administer treatments, medications, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in the EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and post-discharge care.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Active NY RN license and all relevant licenses verified and current.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of recent ED experience with pediatric patient exposure.
  
  
• 
  Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications.
  
  
• 
  Proficiency in using Epic EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Valid drivers license with address matching demographics.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, with floating capability.
