Description

• Conduct thorough assessments of children, adults, and older adults, utilizing standardized tests and observation techniques.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that focus on both immediate and long-term communication and swallowing objectives.
• Engage in individualized therapy sessions to tackle aspects of language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Work collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, medical professionals, families, and caregivers to establish a holistic approach to patient care.
• Provide educational resources to patients and their families, helping to extend therapy gains beyond our clinical settings.
• Take part in occasional inpatient assessments and therapies, ensuring a seamless continuum of care for our patients.
• Document all client interactions accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Pursue ongoing educational opportunities to keep up with the latest trends and practices in the field.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within the first month of employment.
