Firestop Installation Technician

Trillium Construction is now hiring Firestop Installers/Technicians in Charlotte, NC!

Job responsibilities:

Installs, inspects, and repairs materials to seal openings in walls, floors, and ceilings, preventing the passage and spread of fire and smoke.
Installing firestop sealants and sprays as directed by tested systems and EJ's.
Maintaining a safe and clean work site.
Ability to be precise on installations and work independently for large blocks of time. Works at heights on ladders and scaffolding.
Experience operating hand tools like electric drills, powder actuated guns, measuring devices, caulk guns, spatulas, for tooling caulk.
Transporting buckets of spray by hand, must be able to lift a minimum of 45 pounds.

Pay: $20-$24 depending on experience Per Diem: $25 / day and hotel for any overnight stay. Schedule: Mon - Fri, 40h+ / week (local work with some travel)

Qualifications:

Must be willing to travel overnight
Must have valid driver's license and transportation
Able to pass pre-employment screenings
