Job Description Veterinary Dermatologist Compensation: Prosal model with a base ranging from $200,000 to $230,000 with 25% production Full-Time opportunity in Midlothian, Virginia Schedule : 3-4 days weekly.

You'll have the autonomy to shape clinical protocols, develop referral relationships, and build a service that reflects your expertise, with the support of an experienced Internal Medicine team and the broader VVC network. Our Midlothian hospital is equipped to support the launch of Dermatology services, with access to advanced dermatology technology including VetScapel, Phovia Fluorescent Light Therapy, and a dedicated otoscopy unit. You'll also have access to the resources and specialty expertise of our Short Pump location, just 20 minutes away. At Virginia Veterinary Centers, you'll do more than practice. • Establish and lead the Dermatology service at Virginia Veterinary Centers - Midlothian.
• Develop clinical protocols, workflows, and treatment approaches for dermatologic and otic conditions.
• Build strong referral relationships with primary care veterinarians throughout the surrounding community.
• Collaborate with Internal Medicine and other specialty services to provide comprehensive care for complex patients.
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning. What You Bring
• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
• Board Certification in Dermatology or Residency Trained in Dermatology.
