Aircraft Maintenance Technician ApprenticeThe Aircraft Maintenance Technician Apprentice will work side by side with certificated maintenance technicians to assist them with inspection, testing, repair, maintenance, and service of aircraft using test equipment and hand tools, as needed, to return aircraft to service per FAA and manufacturers specifications.Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssists certificated maintenance technicians in performing routine maintenance and inspections on general aviation aircraftEnsures proper care of customer property at all phases of maintenance workContinually keeps clean and organized work area including personal tool boxDocumentation and tracking of on the job training hours needed to meet minimum requirements to qualify for A&P certificationsPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications & Job RequirementsNo experience necessaryMust be 18 years old with High School Diploma or equivalentOther PrerequisitesPass pre-employment drug screen and background checkAbility to obtain Airport Issued security badgeWork Environment & Physical RequirementsWork is performed in an aircraft hangar environment with moderate noise level. The employee is frequently subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions. Constantly requires sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes such as bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, and turning to pick parts.
