College Student/Caregiving Experience

Martha's Hands offers you the opportunity to: Attend our Core Caregiver Training Class Gain PAID Caregiving Experience based on your skills and comfort level. Shadow our Nurse Care Managers: Observe them completing Nursing Assessments, Care Plan Development, Orientation/Training of Caregivers and Clinical Oversight of variety of care situations. Complete monthly Caregiver Skill Reviews and Competency Tests – a certificate of completion, recognized by the Missouri Health & Senior Services Department, will be given noting passing of the skills test for that subject. As a student we know that school is a priority. We offer Scheduling Flexibility and work around your other commitments - school, work, personal. Our Caregivers are professionals who bring a variety of experiences to our client's care. They assist with our Private Pay Client's Daily Activities so they can remain in their homes. Our Caregivers are: Compassionate Positive Skilled Motivated Embrace our mission of 'Love through Service' Salary Range: $16.00 - $18.00 (Base + Differential) Providing home care services to our clients takes special people. Requirements Must be over the age of 18 Must have a valid ID Musthave reliable transportation Must have a minimum of 1 year hands on caregiving experience (this can include experience through school, child care, etc.) Must have a valid email address.
