RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Orthopedic

Job Details:

• Work on combined Orthopedic and Medical Surgical units with 30 orthopedic beds and 37 medical surgical beds
• Patient ratio typically 6:1
• Full-time position requires working 4 weekend shifts per month (example: 3 Saturdays and 1 Sunday)
• Schedules provided in 4-week monthly increments
• Float to inpatient units to take patients, assist with tasks in CCU and ED as needed
• Work with Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), Senior Nurse Extenders (SNEs), and Unit Secretary during day shift
• Use Meditech documentation system
• BLS certification required
• Must maintain positive attitude, manage patient load effectively, and utilize teamwork strategies
• Provide patient-centered care with focus on patient experience
• Assist with bedside procedures performed by physicians when needed
• Dress code requires scrub tops and bottoms, no fleece, hoodies, sweatshirts, or sweaters allowed
• Long sleeve shirts under scrub tops or scrub jackets permitted
• Closed-toe shoes required (no shoes with holes), no denim or camouflage clothing
• All experience levels welcome to apply
