Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care has been delegated
• Support nursing leadership to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
• Monitor and manage appropriate resources related to patient care at the unit level
• Ensure competency of clinical staff through ongoing oversight and accountability

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in an IMCU, PCU, or Step-Down clinical setting
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system
• Ability to delegate and supervise clinical staff appropriately

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a cardiovascular, surgical, or medical ICU environment
• Familiarity with step-down unit workflows and intermediate care protocols
