Frazer, a leading builder of emergency medical vehicles, is currently seeking an Aluminum Assembler to join our team. The Aluminum Assembler at Frazer reports to the Aluminum Assembly Production Supervisor, and is responsible for reading blueprints combined with handling various hand tools, to deliver assembled results per customer demand.

This position is expected to actively live out Frazer Core Values while working with Frazer employees, vendors, and customers to help achieve team, department, and corporate goals. Responsible for learning and reinforcing safe and proper work procedures while actively following Frazer Safety programs and other policies outlined in the Employee Handbook.

What Does a Week in the Life of the Aluminum Assembler Look Like?

1. Lay out, position, align, cut, shape, and install various aluminum components/parts to make aluminum body modules.
2. Use a tape measure, square, power drill, and other various hand and power tools, as needed.
3. Detail and attend to the finished look required of the module. Uses solvents, cleaners, adhesives, adhesive removers and other products in closed and open environments as required.
4. Read and understand blueprints, instructions and service manuals as well as verbal instructions, and related literature to accomplish required jobs.
5. Adhere to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations
6. Understand and carry out verbal and written directions in English.
7. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.

Secondary Duties:

1. Aluminium Assemblers may perform basic welding functions as needed.
2. Perform spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards.
3. Notify supervisor of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
4. Clean and maintain the work area.

Required Education and Experience:

• Minimum of high school diploma or GED.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Must be able to work as part of a team and independently.
• Must be able to pass a post-offer drug screen.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Prior aluminum modular assembly experience helpful.

Oh, and $alary

Of course, we didn't forget salary... Frazer offers competitive pay and this role will start with a salary between $20.00 - $26.00 per hour depending on education, certifications, and experience.

Work Schedule


The Aluminum Assembler will work Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM. Late afternoon/evening/weekend hours may be required as needed. Work schedules may change to accommodate production needs.
