Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:
Seeking a highly experienced Labor & Delivery RN to provide exceptional obstetric care in a fast-paced, modern unit. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, family-centered care throughout the childbirth process from 20 weeks gestation through postpartum.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care for patients from admission to postpartum discharge.
• Monitor fetal well-being using advanced electronic fetal monitoring equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, maintaining high standards of clinical practice.
• Document clinical assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in electronic health records.
• Adhere to all hospital protocols, safety procedures, and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a minimum of 3 years of recent, strong Labor & Delivery RN experience.
• Possess OB Triage experience and previous travel nursing experience.
• Maintain active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license at the time of application.
• Obtain and hold current fetal monitoring certification, with C-EFM preferred or AWHONN Intermediate accepted.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
• Be able to work 4x12 night shifts, including two of three winter holidays, with reliable attendance.
