Cath Lab Tech - Travel Job

Join our team as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while experiencing a new location. Assist physicians and Cath Lab personnel in conducting diagnostic tests and invasive procedures. Operate advanced imaging equipment to capture crucial images and data of the heart and vascular system.

Minimum Qualifications

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist.
• Must have 2 years' experience in a Cath Lab hospital setting.
• Certified in working fluoroscopy and able to assist in fluoroscopic procedures.
• BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association preferred).
• Experience operating CArm equipment and performing routine lead maintenance.
• Experience assisting in Cath procedures and PCIs, including insertion of Impella and intraaortic balloon pump devices.
• Experience scrubbing interventional radiology procedures such as nephrostomy tube insertion, PICC insertion, permacath insertion, pacemaker insertion, and cerebral thrombectomy.
• Ability to respond within 30 minutes of a page for oncall coverage when required.
• State licensure required when applicable.
• Prior experience encompassing skills of an RCIS or equivalent procedural competency.
• Client requirement: MUST HAVE CATH LAB EXPERIENCE.

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
• Priority given to candidates with NJ ARRT license.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 0630-1700.
• Oncall expectation: call coverage 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday; oncall rate applies as specified by client; minimum of 9 oncall shifts per month and availability 4 days per week as scheduled.
• Must be able to arrive within 30 minutes of notification for call coverage.
