Job Title Trainee Health and Social Care Assessor – start May 2026 Location & Type South Wales – Permanent Full Time, 35 hours a week. Salary £24,638 per annum. Must have own transport. Job Summary Our client, a leading Welsh training provider, offers traineeships, apprenticeships and further programmes. We are looking for a trainee health and social care assessor with an NVQ Level 3 qualification to be trained as a Health and Social Care Assessor Trainer/Coach. Responsibilities Provide outstanding support to learners, demonstrating organisational and planning skills. Conduct and evaluate individual initial assessments, ensuring learners are on the correct programme at the right level. Develop positive relationships with learners and employers on a monthly basis. Promote the use of electronic portfolio to all learners and employers. Ensure all learners participate in an exit interview as part of quality assurance visits, covering all aspects of the process. Flexibly work towards achieving the CAVA Assessor Award. Qualifications & Experience NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification. Sound knowledge and experience within the health and social care field. Experience working in various areas of Health and Social Care. Self‑motivated, flexible, able to work under pressure, reliable, enthusiastic, a team player, and IT literate. Benefits Contributory Pension Scheme – 3% employer contribution.
