Assistant Restaurant Leader Position: Restaurant Management, Full Time, located 765 Asp Ave, Norman, OK 73069, United States. Job Overview Assist the Restaurant Leader in day‑to‑day operations, uphold Raising Cane’s standards and culture, and support crew members in all aspects of restaurant operations. Key Responsibilities Hire, train, and terminate hourly, non‑management crew members. Own onboarding, status changes, and payroll processes for hourly crew. Create work and training schedules for crew. Manage performance of all hourly crew members (development, coaching, documentation, etc.). Act as manager on duty; open and close the restaurant. Handle cash and ensure accountability. Enforce Raising Cane’s policies and standards. Execute shift‑management meetings and maintain operations and safety standards. Use required tools, forms, and logs to document results and take corrective action. Deploy crew during shifts. Deliver exemplary customer service. Utilize reward and recognition program for crew. Authorize employee functions requiring manager approval (discounts, promotions, time‑clock overrides, etc.). Maintain restaurant cleanliness and facility operational status. Complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience Detail‑oriented, organized and able to manage multiple priorities with a constantly changing environment. Self‑driven, flexible, highly energetic with strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills. Works effectively independently and collaboratively. Problem‑solving: recognize, analyze, set goals, develop plans, and execute solutions. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and quick to learn new systems. Available to work days, evenings, weekends, and travel for trainings or functions. Minimum 3years of restaurant or retail management experience. Preferred: experience opening a new restaurant.
