E-Discovery Application Administrator II

Job Overview Employment Type: Full‑Time, Experienced Department: Legal Services CGS seeks an experienced IT legal support professional with exemplary eDiscovery expertise to support a large federal agency. This role involves independently developing, modifying, and maintaining complex programs for litigation environment applications, such as litigation support databases, associated management systems, and analytical systems. Responsibilities Independently develop, modify, and maintain complex programs. Translate program requirements into program code. Test, debug, and refine programs to process data in accordance with written specifications. Revise programs to increase efficiency and reduce operating time. Develop data entry screens and other user interfaces; implement standardized reports; create and generate specialized and ad hoc reports as required. Qualifications Must be a United States Citizen. Requires substantial, hands‑on programming experience in the systems environment being used. At least two years of directly applicable experience is required. At least three years of overall programming experience, including experience with large‑scale database management systems. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Undergraduate degree strongly preferred, preferably in computer science or information management/technology disciplines. Preferred Experience Broad knowledge of government IT environments, including office automation networks, and PC and server‑based databases and applications. Supervisory or team‑leader experience. Experience in automated litigation support.
