Transportation Analyst II

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Transportation Analyst II to optimize logistics operations through data analysis and process automation. The role involves developing reporting tools, analyzing transportation trends, and supporting contract negotiations using advanced software platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop data visualization and comprehensive reporting tools to support transportation analytics
- Analyze transportation trends and logistics network performance to identify optimization opportunities
- Automate processes using Power Automate and advanced software to improve operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-divisional teams to support contract negotiations and cost efficiency improvements
- Generate business cases and present recommendations for process improvements to stakeholders
Requirements
- Advanced degree with no prior experience, or Bachelor's degree plus 2 years in logistics, distribution, or operations analytics
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server, Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate
- Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and analysis
- Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Ability to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights
- Knowledge of logistics operations and transportation network optimization
