Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Inpatient (OT IP) position in a hospital setting. This 15-week contract supports holiday coverage and involves working with patients experiencing cerebrovascular accidents (CVAs), orthopedic conditions, and dementia, with discharge planning as part of the role. The position offers an opportunity for a qualified healthcare professional to provide evaluations, therapy, and home program recommendations. First-time travelers are encouraged to apply.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 0800-1630, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid occupational therapy license in the state of Washington, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, 1 year of experience as an occupational therapist with the ability to work independently, experience with evaluation and therapy for patients with CVA, orthopedic, and dementia diagnoses, familiarity with electronic health records (Epic experience preferred).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing home program recommendations, previous hospital inpatient experience.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required to various areas within the hospital, excluding pediatric units.
• Additional Information: The role involves working throughout the hospital facility, providing evaluations, therapy sessions, and discharge planning for diverse patient diagnoses.
