Job Skills / Requirements Custodian / Day Porter | Farmington Hills Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM $15 per hour We are seeking a dependable and professional Day Porter / Custodian to support daytime cleaning operations at a modern automotive technology and engineering facility in the Farmington Hills area near the M-5 and 12 Mile Road corridor. This position works during daytime business hours while the building is occupied. The Day Porter / Custodian will help maintain a clean, organized, and professional environment for employees, visitors, and building occupants throughout the day. Responsibilities

- Maintain cleanliness and overall appearance throughout common areas, entrances, hallways, and shared spaces
- Respond to routine cleaning needs during business hours
- Remove trash and maintain building appearance throughout the shift
- Restock facility supplies as needed
- Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and building occupants
- Report facility concerns, supply needs, or maintenance issues to management
- Follow cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and building expectations
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and professional workplace environment
- Previous janitorial, custodial, or day porter experience preferred
- Comfortable working in an occupied professional office and technology environment
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills
- Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
- Ability to work independently and stay organized throughout the shift
- Ability to respond to cleaning needs during business hours
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
