Job Description
Title
Clinic Triage Nurse - Outpatient Oncology

Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
- Outpatient oncology experience required
- EPIC experience required
- Current BLS certification
- Preferred: OCN certification
- North Carolina or Compact license pending acceptable for submittal

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform clinic triage and care coordination for patients.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans and processes.
- Follow up on test results and manage telephone triage.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Assist in IV starts as needed (preferred skill).

Compliance / Notes
- Flu vaccine is required (medical/religious exemptions allowed).
- RTO after booking is not allowed; additional RTO may result in contract cancellation.
- Candidate testing must be completed within 48 hours after signing.
- Interview required prior to approval; provide availability for the next 72 hours when submitting.
