Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring ARRT(R) certification and 6+ months of recent acute care IR tech experience.

Details

• Work in a 5-suite Interventional Radiology department
• Patient staffing ratio of 2 IR Techs to 1 IR RN
• Equipment includes 4 Siemens Bi-plane units and 1 Siemens Single-plane unit
• EMR used is Meditech with GE Centricity PACS
• Alternating day shifts between 7:00 AM-5:30 PM and 7:30 AM-4:30 PM
• On-call required one night per week and one rotating weekend per month, with possible holiday coverage

Requirements

• ARRT(R) and BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum of 6 months of current acute care hospital IR Tech experience required
• Neuro interventional experience (strokes, aneurysms, SAH) preferred
• Expert knowledge of vascular interventional radiology procedures with minimal guidance preferred
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform procedures in a Comprehensive Stroke Center including treatment for strokes, aneurysms, SAH, and DVST
• Support Level 1 Trauma Center procedures such as GIB, embolizations, gastrostomy tubes, and nephrostomy placements
• Fast-paced interventional lab environment best suited for self-motivated, team-oriented candidates
• Local candidates will not be considered; a 50-mile radius rule applies
