Exciting Opportunity for a Physical Therapist! Job Description:
- Shift Details:
- 8-Hour Shifts, Monday to Friday
- Choose between 7 AM - 4 PM or 8 AM - 5 PM
- No weekends & No call required
- Patient Care:
- Float between Inpatient (IP) and Outpatient (OP) settings (80% IP, 20% OP)
- Collaborate within a supportive team of therapists and nursing staff
- Treat an average of 7 patients per day with a combination of general PT cases including:
- Fractures
- Orthopedic injuries (including sports-related)
- Neuro cases (10-15%)
- Wound care (preferred but not required)
- Certification Requirements:
- Valid Texas Physical Therapy License
- National Certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required - Team Environment:
- Work alongside 2-3 PTA's and 1 technician
- Opportunity to precept as needed
- Supportive atmosphere with 2 full-time staff PTs
- Orientation and Training:
- Brief department-specific orientation provided
- Strong focus on professional growth and development - Additional Notes:
- Candidates must not have been employed by the CommonSpirit network within the past year
- Call-outs are strongly discouraged and may lead to termination
