Job Description
TITLE
RN - Labor and Delivery

SCHEDULE
Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00pm - 7:00am
Must work every other weekend.
Must work every other major holiday.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 weekly

REQUIREMENTS
- Active RN license in Massachusetts
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
- Documented travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
- 2 recent L&D Charge RN/Manager/Supervisor references
- Skills checklist matching specialty
- Flu vaccine required during the season
- NURSYS verification report showing active license

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide optimal care to patients during labor and delivery processes.
- Monitor and assess the health status of mothers and infants throughout the labor and delivery process.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding childbirth and newborn care.
- Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
- Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards in the labor and delivery unit.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
Must include RTO (Requested Time Off) at the time of submission; it will not be guaranteed after confirmation.
