Sr. Accountant

Location: Maitland, FL Pay: $43/hr Schedule: M-F 8-5pm Contract: 4 month contract to hire Accountant II – Key Responsibilities Perform bank account reconciliations and analyze general ledger accounts Manage and complete month-end close processes within deadlines Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly financial reports Handle credit card and expense reconciliations Support revenue recognition and accrual accounting activities Maintain and update system access for new hires and terminations Act as a resource for internal teams on accounting policies and procedures Work with vendors to resolve discrepancies and escalate issues when needed Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Complete ad hoc reporting and financial analysis Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and reports Ideal Candidate Background Experience with month-end close and financial reporting Strong reconciliation and general ledger experience Knowledge of accruals and revenue recognition Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable working cross-functionally and communicating with vendors/internal teams Benefits include medical, dental, vision coverage, and participation in the company 401(k) retirement plan.
