Travel RN - Telemetry

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Telemetry for a hospital float pool position requiring 18 months of experience and an active GA or Compact RN license.

Job Details

• Internal float pool position within a hospital setting,
• Handles ED boarder patients within their specialty,
• May float between two facility locations as needed based on staffing demand, with priority given to the primary location,
• Staff will be notified of their assigned work location prior to each shift,
• 3x12-hour AM shifts per week totaling 36 hours,
• 12-hour shifts with a 30-minute meal break,
• No on-call requirements,

Job Requirements

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required in hand,
• Minimum of 18 months of relevant nursing experience required,
• BLS certification required,

Additional Information

• Candidates must submit all requested time off upfront prior to assignment start,
• Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility,
• Floating between facilities is limited to within a 15-mile radius and stays within the candidate's specialty,
• Former Emory or Houston health system employees must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility,
• RTO requests not falling on or near a holiday are limited to a maximum of 5 days,
• RTO requests falling on or near a holiday are limited to a maximum of 3 days, with only one holiday request allowed,
• Multiple RTO days requested during holiday periods must be spread out rather than consecutive,
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
