Description
American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for an academic medical center's Neuro MRI unit, requiring ARRT MR certification and at least 2 years of MRI experience.
Details
- Work in the MRI Neuro unit of an academic medical center clinic
- Perform Neuro, Abdominal, and Musculoskeletal (MSK) MRI procedures
- Mon-Fri schedule with 8-hour shifts, no call, no overnights, and no holidays
- Day shift options include 6:30AM-3PM or 8:30AM-5PM, and evening shift 2PM-10:30PM with no rotation required between shifts
- 13-week assignment
- Uses Epic EMR for charting
Requirements
- ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance (MR) required
- BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross)
- Graduate of an ARRT approved or recognized Health Science program
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience as a staff tech required, or 3 total travel assignments
- Epic EMR experience required
- Active MR license required if applicable
- Must demonstrate strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a high acuity academic medical center environment

- Practice safety guidelines for self, staff, and patients
- Foster teamwork through effective communication
- Must be adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced academic medical center
- COVID vaccination and booster required for consideration
- Travelers may remain on assignment for up to one calendar year from their initial start date, after which a 30-60 day break is required before returning to a new assignment
