Purchasing Coordinator Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 20.00 to $ 24.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 05:00pm)

• Create, review, and maintain purchase orders with a high level of accuracy.
• Analyze inventory, forecasts, and historical data to maintain proper stock levels.
• Enter and maintain supplier shipment and container information.
• Verify product pricing, shipping instructions, and purchase order details.
• Coordinate order status updates with suppliers and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor and expedite open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain supplier price lists and purchasing records.
• Review and resolve supplier invoice discrepancies.
• Obtain and compare quotes from multiple suppliers.
• Prepare on-time delivery reports for domestic and international suppliers.
• Electronically file and maintain purchasing documents according to company procedures.
• Monitor supply inventory and purchase maintenance, repair, and operating materials as needed.

Purchasing Coordinator Qualifications:

• Previous purchasing, procurement, inventory control, or supply chain experience preferred.
• Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience creating and managing purchase orders.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems preferred.
• Ability to analyze inventory data, forecasts, and purchasing trends.
• Professional demeanor and strong customer service mindset.
