Pediatric Physical Therapist $25,000 Bonus

Job Description This pediatric physical therapist position is responsible for screening, testing, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities in accordance with standard physical therapy practices. The physical therapist consults, educates, and trains patients and their caregivers within a pediatric population. Scope of Responsibilities Perform and document initial and ongoing assessments of patients’ condition. Develop treatment plans describing strategies, purposes, and anticipated outcomes, often including exercise regimens for clinic and home use to increase flexibility, strength, or endurance. Use modalities to relieve pain and reduce swelling. Provide information on adaptive equipment and support programs. Help restore physical function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent permanent disability. Determine patients’ ability to be independent and reintegrate into the workplace or community after injury or illness. Promote mission, vision, and values of the organization and adhere to service behavior standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school. Current/valid state physical therapist licensure. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. One year of related experience, preferably in a clinic setting. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Preferred Qualifications Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Additional Requirements Regular attendance and presence on site during scheduled business hours or shifts. Knowledge of physical therapy principles, standards, and applications. Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills. Highly organized and analytical. Strong work ethic and high level of professionalism. Team player capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment. Physical capabilities: carrying, climbing, crawling, hearing/listening, lifting, manual dexterity, pulling/pushing, seeing, speaking, squatting/kneeling, standing, walking. Schedule & Compensation Full‑time, part‑time, and PRN hours. Flexible shifts and PRN as needed. Scheduled weekly hours: 40. Hourly rate: $42.66 – $65.82, dependent on experience.
