TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Columbia, South Carolina, 29204!

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Location

Columbia, SC

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 2x12-hour shifts per week | Onsite | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5, delivering safe and effective nursing care throughout the night shift
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in on-call coverage as required, primarily limited to the first 4 hours when needed
• Float within scope to like units or sister facilities as determined by facility needs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry RN experience
• Active South Carolina RN license or valid Multistate / Compact RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIHSS certification
• Experience working in an acute care hospital environment
• Familiarity with travel nursing expectations, including flexibility with scheduling and floating
