Cath Lab Technician

Maintain safe operation of designated equipment and instruments. Set up equipment prior to procedure, as appropriate to the ages of the patient's growth and development through the life cycle factors (Adults and Geriatrics). Assist in patient preparation for procedure as appropriate to the ages of the patient's growth and development through the life cycle factors (Adults and Geriatrics). Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of procedure utilizing event log on hemodynamic monitoring system. Maintain the power injection during procedure. Maintain accurate monitoring of image acquisitions during procedure. Perform as an active member of cath lab team in assisting with other duties as appropriate to patient growth and development through the life cycle factors (Adults and Geriatrics). Maintain supply and inventory management. Be responsible for patient safety. Report all necessary information and/or unusual occurrences in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures. Participate in staff development and educational activities.
