Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical UnitThis is a night shift position, consisting of 12-hour shifts for a total of 36 hours per week.The Registered Nurse will provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced medical surgical unit with a diverse patient population including post-surgical cases, various medical conditions, traumas, strokes, and inpatient hospice care. The role emphasizes safety, quality care, and positive patient outcomes through collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with healthcare team members to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.Utilize the Clinical Practice Model (CPM) and the Caring-Quality Model to meet patients' changing needs.Engage in lifelong learning and professional development through certifications and higher education.Exemplify leadership by sharing knowledge, being a clinical resource, and acting as a professional role model.Ensure effective communication through collegial relationships and interdisciplinary collaboration.Manage time efficiently and support other team members to enhance overall team performance.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureMinimum of 2 years of experience in straight med-surg nursing.Level II or I Trauma level experience required.Current Michigan RN license verification is mandatory (LARA and Nursys).BLS certification (AHA) is required.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
