Emergency Room Technicians support the nursing and medical staff in the emergency department by assisting with patient care and maintaining equipment. Key responsibilities include:
- Assist with patient triage and preparation for treatment
- Perform basic clinical tasks, such as taking vital signs and collecting samples
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the emergency room
- Assist medical staff with procedures and documentation
- Ensure availability and functionality of medical supplies and equipment
Requirements:
- Completion of a medical assistant or emergency medical technician program
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
