Role Description

This full-time, on-site Anesthesiologist role is based in Cherry Hill, NJ and focuses on providing anesthesia care for ambulatory and outpatient procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting pre-anesthesia assessments, reviewing patient histories, and developing individualized anesthesia plans. The Anesthesiologist will administer various forms of anesthesia, monitor patients intraoperatively, manage airways and hemodynamics, and address any complications that arise. The role also includes post-anesthesia care, pain management consultation, clear documentation of services, and active collaboration with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, efficient patient flow and adherence to clinical and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Clinical expertise in Anesthesiology and Medicine, with the ability to develop and implement safe, evidence-based anesthesia plans.
• Experience collaborating with Surgery teams and supporting a broad range of outpatient and ambulatory procedures.
• Skills in Pain Management, including perioperative pain control and postoperative pain assessment and treatment.
• Understanding of Critical Care Nursing principles and multidisciplinary teamwork in monitoring and stabilizing patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency program and board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology.
• Unrestricted medical license (or eligibility) to practice in the state of New Jersey and current ACLS/BLS certification.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and adherence to all regulatory and ethical standards.
