This is a full-time position with a consistent five-day schedule , with Thursdays and Fridays off :

• Monday–Wednesday: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Thursday–Friday: Off
• Saturday: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Sunday: 12:00 PM–5:00 PM

Experience

• Retail or customer service experience is preferred.
• Previous experience in pet retail, veterinary medicine, animal care, or other health-focused environments is valuable and may qualify you for higher starting pay because it shortens the learning curve.
• However, many of our most successful team members came from outside the pet industry.
• We can teach pet nutrition and product knowledge. We're looking for people who genuinely enjoy helping others, are passionate about learning, take pride in doing excellent work, and naturally build trust with the people around them.

Compensation

$14.00–$17.00 per hour

Starting pay is based on relevant experience, qualifications, and demonstrated knowledge. Most employees start toward the lower end of the range, with opportunities for pay increases as they develop proficiency, product knowledge, and experience in the role.

Physical Requirements

This is an active retail position. You should be comfortable:

• Standing and walking throughout the workday
• Safely lifting and stocking inventory, including pet food bags weighing up to 40 pounds
• Keeping the store clean, organized, and welcoming
