About the Job Manufacturing Engineer

A cutting-edge, innovation-driven manufacturer is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer – Molding Systems to take ownership of complex projects, drive process excellence, and help launch a brand-new molding-based production line. This role offers $105K–$120K and the chance to shape the future of high-precision manufacturing.

What You'll Lead

Design, simulate, and implement molding machinery and processes
Build equipment, fixtures, and automation solutions
Set up, qualify, and maintain a new molding production line
Document, refine, and improve molding processes
Evaluate workflows and identify opportunities for efficiency gains
Implement cost-saving measures and quality control systems
Ensure all processes and equipment meet safety standards
Collaborate across engineering, production, and cross-functional teams
Troubleshoot equipment and resolve complex technical challenges
Support procurement, installation, and continuous improvement initiatives

What You Bring

BS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering
2+ years hands-on experience designing or supporting molds and molding systems
2+ years' experience in a production or assembly environment
Strong troubleshooting skills for equipment and systems
Ability to communicate complex ideas across multidisciplinary teams
Creative problem-solving, adaptability, and a continuous-improvement mindset
Knowledge of Lean and/or Six Sigma
Bonus: Experience with project management, risk assessment, DOE
Preferred experience with encapsulation, transfer, compression molding, or potting

Salary Range:

$105,000 - $125,000/year commensurate with experience.
