Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Location: Dallas, TX 75246 (Local Candidates Only)

Duration: 13-Week Contract (Temp-to-Perm Opportunity)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 40 Hours/Week

Pay Rate: $18–$24/hour (W2)

 

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide clinical and administrative support in a fast-paced specialty practice. The ideal candidate will assist physicians with patient care, perform clinical procedures, maintain accurate documentation in Epic, and deliver exceptional patient service.

 

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints.
• Prepare patients and exam rooms for physician examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications, injections, and vaccinations as directed by the provider.
• Perform venipuncture, specimen collection, EKGs, and other routine clinical tests.
• Assist with minor procedures, dressing changes, and suture or staple removal.
• Document patient information accurately in Epic EMR .
• Schedule appointments, answer patient calls, and support daily clinic operations.
• Maintain exam rooms, clinical supplies, and infection control standards.
• Assist with workflow coordination, team huddles, and process improvement initiatives.
  
   

Requirements

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
• Current AHA BLS Certification .
• Minimum 2 years of recent Certified Medical Assistant experience .
• Epic EMR experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of medication administration, injections, phlebotomy, medical terminology, and HIPAA compliance.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
  
   

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a specialty or surgical clinic .
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
