We believe in investing in our people and creating clear career paths for technicians who want to grow.Maintain ASE A4 and A5 certificationsObtain ASE A6 Electrical Systems certificationObtain ASE A7 Heating and Air Conditioning certificationAchieve and maintain a minimum of 75% labor productivity when comparing attendance hours to invoiced hoursRequirements:What we're looking for:1 or more years automotive technician experience or a combination of experience and training to be an automotive technician.Possess required state and local certifications to be able to legally perform the work, including a current and valid driver's license, as well as, a satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR)Technician (C) should have the below ASE certifications:ASE A4 Suspension and/orASE A5 Brakes certificationStrong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanshipExperience performing inspections and maintenance servicesAbility to accurately identify repair needs through DVI inspectionsKnowledge of basic electrical systems and vehicle componentsPositive attitude and team-first mindsetWillingness to earn ASE certifications and work towards being a B Level automotive technician, strongly preferredWork environment & physical requirements:Physical demands:Must be able to get into and out of various vehicles without assistance.Must be able to drive a motor vehicle with passengers.Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs without assistance.Ability to view a monitor, and use touch screens, mice, and keyboards.Ability to climb up/down and over/under work platforms and lifts to access vehicles for repairAbility to stand for long periods of timeAbility to perform major and fine motor skill movements using body to perform the necessary actions to complete a repair, service, vehicle inspection, or shop cleaning activity.Ability to reach overhead, push, pull, bend over/down, stoop, and other major body movements frequentlyThis job operates in an environment with extensive exposure to an automotive repair shop environment. The job will have exposure to a moderate noise level, adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt, and dust.
